Abstract
The study was divided into 3 cycles, the first cycle action composing descriptions using printed drawing media, the second cycle composing descriptions with different themed print media, the third cycle of composing the description with the next themed print media. The result of the research shows that 1) the quality of the Learning Planning in the first cycle is 70 (medium category), and the second cycle is 80 (good category), and the third learning plan is 87,5 (very good category), 2) the learning activity students in the learning process increased, active students in class X2 achieved the percentage of activity of 51.28% in the first cycle, in the second cycle of active students achieved 64.10% and in the third cycle of active students reached 84.51%. In class X3 active learning activities achieved 52 students, 63%, the second cycle reached 68.42%, and the third cycle reached 84.21%.
